Refund Policy:
This policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. A description of each event is provided. Be sure to read the event information before you buy a ticket to any of our events.
Release
Registration for any public Scavenger Hunt DC, Inc. event constitutes your permission for “Scavenger Hunt DC, Inc.” to take and use: photographs and/or digital images of you, your children or any volunteer at the event for use in news releases, advertising, and/or educational materials. These materials might include printed or electronic publications, Web sites or other electronic communications.
You further agree that your name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the image(s). You authorize the use of these images without compensation to you. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall be the property of Scavenger Hunt DC, Inc.. All volunteers serve at their own risk.
Event Waiver
By attending any Scavenger Hunt DC, Inc. Event you acknowledge that participation in the Event exposes you to a posssule risk of personal injury. You hereby release Scavenger Hunt DC, Inc., (“Event Organizer”), its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, from any and all liability from personal injuries, property damage, and/or other claims arising from or in connection with your participation in the Event including claims that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent.
Further, you hereby release all corporate sponsors affiliated with the Event, (“Event Sponsors”), their officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, from any and all liability from property damage, personal injuries, or other claims arising from or in connection with your participation in the Event including claims that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent.
You covenant that you shall not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against the Event Organizer, the Event Sponsors, their officers, directors, employees, agent, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, for acts or conduct arising out of, or relating to an action for bodily injuries or damages of whatever kind. By signing this agreement, you agree to waive your right to bring an action, suit against the Event Organizer, the Event Sponsors, their officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, and if such action is commenced, you agree to release and discharge said claim.
